Default Programming Cockos' VST-plugins from scripts

There's one thing I wonder for quite some time now:
Is there a way, to programmatically change stuff in Cockos' vst-plugins from scripts?

For instance, I would be able to influence the ReaSamplomatic programmatically, so I could use it as extended soundboard.
I don't want to fiddle around with presets, but rather fill it using a file-list of soundfiles I have in my clipboard.

In a way like:
1) Read filenames from clipboard into my Luascript
2) add and load them to ReaSamplomatic automatically with optionally setting sample-playing-options(loops, etc)

Is that possible somehow? Or is it a new case for "Super El Feature Requesto"?

This was added in v5.40:
Quote:
+ ReaSamplomatic: support TrackFX_SetNamedConfigParm and similar API functions with FILE, FILExx, -FILExx, +FILExx, -FILE*, DONE, RSMODE, MODE
