Default The FL Studio and LAN Bug/Problem remains (SOLVED)

Hi there!

In the past I wrote two threads about two problem that occur only with Reaper.

1. FL Studio loaded as a VSTi in Reaper. Sometimes Reaper crashes after closing it:

http://www.cockos.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1135

2. Opening and closing Reaper as well as pressing the start and stop button causes a big delay an the "Network connection disabled" bubble pops up:

I would expect that this will be solved before v1.0.
But unfortunately it hasn't been solved yet. As a registered user I would really appreciate these things to be fixed. And I would like Justin to say something about this issue. I know that especialliy the second one is really system specific and maybe it is a system problem.

But All the other DAWs work fine. So either Reaper is kind of too "sensitive" to this system problem or it is a real Reaper bug.

Hi Stelzbock,

I can't help you with your LAN issue, but I would try turning on the "Run FX when stopped" option in Options > Preferences > Audio. This cured all of the crashes I was having with FL Studio on my system.

Cheers,

Malcolm.

Ahhh! This sounds good to me I'll try that at home. Thank you so far..

And the LAN issue was (shame on me) a system problem. I don't know why I haven't noticed that before but I tried FL and the same strange thing occurred. Then I remembered that guy in the other thread telling me that the PCI bus is kind of overloaded. Then I took out my old terratec souncard and...guess what? It worked.

So, if the FL fix also works I'm happy as hell!
