Default VST FX for long repeated echo?

Hi, does anybody know about a VST that can generate and sustain an echo over several bars? Also with the ability to pitch up or down the repeated parts along the time ?

Thanks for your help.

Redelay can do some of that. As far as pitching it up, you may need to create a chain that will do that if you anable allow feedback routing (be very careful) and create a chain that is a delay, going out to a pitch shift, and back into the delay. Just make sure your knock a few Db off each time or you'll get delay forever.

If you're talking about pitch sliding that happens when you mess with the rate of an analog delay get the free echotank vst. I don't have the website, but do a google search and you'll find it easy enough.

Thanks for your reply Schmidty.
I played with the feedback slider on the ReaDelay plug-in but i can't have more than 5 repeats (higher feedback blows my speakers).
Thanks anyway :-)

You might try the ctrl-key with the mouse wheel to set values in small steps. You can also set the feedback level first with a shorter delay time and if it seems to be good set the delay time afterwards. Readelay has also an unlimited number of taps.

NastyDLA - here: http://varietyofsound.wordpress.com/vst-effects/

This one sounds great, especially as you tweak the delay-line sliders. It also offers quite a few sound sculpting possibilities in regards to how the delay lines interact, and includes saturation and chorusing. Been using this delay exclusively for quite awhile, except when I need an ultra clean delay, then I use Readelay.
