Default Any idea why "knob.png" keeps showing up?

I have cloned my plugins from the IPlugEffect example using the Youlean tool and for some reason when I go to compile them "knob.png" keeps showing up under Resources in Xcode.

There is no "knob.png" in my project - and so it throws a "cannot find file" compiler error if I forget to delete it from the file tree.

Any idea why this reference keeps getting copied into my projects? (please see attached screenshot)

Did you maybe leave it in resource.h or projectname.rc?

Nope. I made sure of that.

Also, while “knob.png” keeps showing up, image files that I DO use in the project - and are in the resource.h file and “img” folder - do NOT show up in the tree. I have to add them and attach them to the targets manually.

So it seems that whatever function generates the “.xcproject” file is not working quite right.

Ah, I may have misunderstood. Does it come back after deleting with the same projects, or is it just there each time you make a new clone?

Just on new clones. Now that I am aware of it I know how to fix it - but I spent many days beforehand trying to figure out why my projects wouldn’t compile.
