Default low CPU load

Hey guys, I have a dual xeon x5677 processor(8 cores, 16 logical). And it shows only 5-8% of load while rendering to any format. Is there a way to make it faster? I tried to raise an application priority in a task manager, but it didn't make any difference. Scrolled down the preferences and didn't find any option about it.

Depending on how your project is structured (used plugins, the number of tracks and routing between them), you might not get full utilization of your multicore CPU during offline renders. There isn't really anything you can do about it. Reaper's audio processing is CPU parallel on a track by track basis. So for example, if you only have 1 track in your project, roughly only 1 CPU core can be utilized for the offline rendering.

8 core dual xeon system here as well. I see everything from blazing 90x realtime renders to 1.0x depending on the plugins used and so forth.

Using UA plugins for example? Go find something else to do while the mix renders.

Hi,
Could have sworn there is a preference option to use all CPU to render. Will look when I'm in studio.
