Default NI 'Raum' Reverb - Installation Help?

Hello Reaper community!

Recently, Native Instruments dropped a free (at least temporarily) reverb called "Raum." Always excited to try out a new reverb, I quickly downloaded it, with the hopes that I could try it out on a project soon. However, I quickly realized that I had no idea of how to get it working/installed in Reaper. Don't get me wrong - I've installed many Reaper plugins/tools in the past. However, seeing as "Raum" comes in a folder with many files, and it doesn't just have a simple '.dll' file I can copy or move to my VSTs folder, I am not sure how to get it to work. I have tried all manner of things, from copying the whole folder to my VST folder that Reaper pulls the rest of my plugins from. I've tried taking the two '.dll' files from it and pasting them into the VST folder too. I tried doing both these things to multiple different VST folders, and even added a line in my Reaper preferences to search for plugins directly in the "Raum" folder. However, nothing worked. Has anyone on here installed this plugin (or perhaps a similiar plugin from Native Instruments) before? I have seen videos online of people using it in Reaper, so I know it is possible. I just don't have any clue what I am doing wrong. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

As you have the files I'm assuming you have a Native Instruments account and downloaded them from Native Access?
i think you just need to login to Native Access and authorise it.

Install via Native Access.

It needs to run inside an instance of Komplete Kontrol in Reaper.

Just to confuse you more, once you have it installed properly, it needs to run once in K.K. standalone.

It is very much worth having, I like it a lot.

I would suggest deleting your previous attempts and start fresh with this.

Peace

Does it? I don't have komplete kontrol installed and it works fine for me as a standard vst plugin?

As already suggested, try to reinstall Raum via Native Access: https://support.native-instruments.c...-Native-Access
And just in case: also double-check the plugin install paths in the preferences of Native Access (https://support.native-instruments.c...-Native-Access).

As a side note: Raum is a 'standalone' plugin, so it can be used in Reaper on its own. Using Raum and other NI plugins inside the Komplete Kontrol software (standalone or plugin) is an additional option.

Same here, and I must say NI plugs are the easiest to install...
My main audio PC died, so I had to reinstall my plugs... PITA... except for NI... that was so easy, just Native Access, click install... and... voilà.

Also having problems finding Raum in Reaper.
No problem whatsoever in Bitwig , it just shows up as a regular VST plugin.

I have Native access installed , showing Raum.
I did a reinstall via native access just in case.
opened the KK standalone app. I can access Raum as the second instrument in the chain.
Same with KK in reaper, but we don't want an instrument before Raum in KK, just an FX.

Raum is in the correct VST folder.

help !

UPdate. I have to allow AU plugins again to let Raum show up as both AU and VST so I only kept Raum in the AU folder.
