Whoa Dave, that is EPIC!
I feel bad that I haven't listened to the music in your signature before, which is really cool by the way, but the drums sound very minimal. Where can I hear your full-on setup in action?

Hi,
Only? Only?
I have man years tied up in using superior. There were serious..IMHO, flaws in SD 2. The xdrums...you set em all up..save em. Load another kit that has some xdrums u want to keep. Then load your saved xdrums...boom. Deletes the previous xdrums.
Snares with the beefy rim shot on the HEAD of the snare when hit hard and a weak dixieland ...am I allowed to say that?....on the rim.
And no seperate ride channel. And so on.
From what I heard of the sweetwater guy playing the preset kits..it sounds like stuff was much improved.
Now , I finnaly HAVE to dump xp and build a win 7 PC.:-)
Thanks for the heads up Ivan!

Pipe - do you mean a separate channel for just ride cymbals? Not sure how that would be implemented if like me people have more than one ride and more than one crash. You can however edit each individual kit piece pretty radically..... Keep an eye out on the Toon pages and any further announcements.

Wow, heh heh, that's a serious kit, complete with Xmas lights and all.
I love your drummer...

Haa. Toontrack will have figured out how to extract drum parts from the future before js4 comes out. Too bad too. I really hoped rayzoon would have stayed a major player in drum vsti. Who knows, maybe js4 will be worth the wait.

And in the end BFD3 will still reign supreme. Some of the stuff people are raving about being in SD3, BFD has had for 10 years.
SD2 wasn't even a faint blur in BFD3's rear view (I own SD2 and all it's expansions) and EZD2 . . . well it's cute, but can't really swim in the big pool (own it also and all expansions)
Nothing to date has come close to BFD3, time will tell, but I am confident that after I purchase SD3 and try it for a while it will join the others and gather digital dust, as BFD3 remains at the top, then again maybe I'll be surprised, which would be welcomed as I'm all for something better, in the case of BFD3 it just hasn't happened yet.

You guys are going to LOVE this.
Site is so busy I couldnt get on to read the full announcement, nothing in the beta forums (till I put something up) but you ARE going to need plenty of hard drive space for the full monte.

Very cool 😎
Looking forwards to this coming out.

That is why they make chocolate and vanilla. In my case, I dumped BFD after version 2 disappointed in many ways. Interesting nobody mentions Addictive Drums/Keys any more.
