Rewire Bugs with Ableton

hey guys, I've got a few bugs occuring when running rewire with ableton

1. when reaper is slave and ableton master - if reaper is focused and i hit stop during playback, and then start again, reaper doesn't return to the cursor, but starts playback from where it had just stopped.

2. reaper as master, ableton slave - after multiple stop/starts ableton and reaper will freeze that the programs have to be terminated. Happens with greater frequency on bigger reaper projects. as well if the ruler (top of edit window) is clicked for a new playback start position during playback, crash happens almost every time.
