what PA plugin do you mean?
Did you install it to the default vst/au directory?
Does this happen in every session without other plugins inserted?

Thank you
so it crashes, when you insert it and it happens with vst, vst3 and au?
SSL 9000 J?

maybe you should ask PA support to send you a legacy version to see if it works on your system.
On Mojave everything works fine here

Crash when i open Reaper, and as Reaper Scan the plugin it stop at the SSL and
nothing happen for hours,
as i install the SSL with the latest version of there installer, i can see all the version instal
when i look at PA Alliance in reaper i only see VST 3 install.

all other plugin i can see there version, i can open any one in any version
only PA Alliance do that
i'm on H Sierrra and acording to PA Alliance
my system is up to date, and i used Headphone so no soundcard
on myMac Book Pro who's support with PA alliance.

Same thing happen last year as i try to instal MAGG plugin from PA Alliance

The Tech support at PA Alliance told me i should ask Reaper.

If you see Reaper stalling at the PA SSL console plugin loading, maybe it's not this plugin that is the problem. I had a similar problem, and when I see the name of the plugin loading, usually it's already loaded, and it's the next plugin in the loading list that has a problem, but its name is not shown in the Reaper window.
Have you tried removing the PA SSL plugin form the VST folder, and if so, does Reaper load fine?

My issue was caused by another plugin that required iLok registration, and the iLok manager was the real problem, but no message informed me of that. Reaper was stalling on a PA plugin, I removed it, then it stalled on another PA plugin, removed, stalled again...etc... And never did the name of the plugin that required iLok show up in the loading list, which is why it took me lot of time figuring what the problem was (I opened a feature request to see the name of the actual plugin that Reaper is trying to load, but I got no answer on that). What I had to do was to simply reinstall the iLok manager, then when loading the plugin iLok would open and ask me for registration, and then Reaper finished loading all the plugins.

So, in case you have some plugins that use iLok or another license manager, try to see if they are correctly registered.
