Default What are these little Red Dashes in the Track panel?

Hey y'all! Long time reader, first time poster. I'm not really a Reaper newbie, but this might be a newbie question. Also I might just be procrastinating working on some edits...

The question: what are the little diagonal red dashes that have suddenly appeared at the base of two of the volume sliders in the track panel? Screenshot attached.

Doesn't seem to affect anything I can hear at this point. The two tracks are a Mid-Side of a Fig 8 of the same guitar take, and maybe I clipped it at some point? But I'm pretty sure I didn't. Toggling the track grouping doesn't seem to change anything.

Anyway, probably doesn't matter but I'm curious. After some searching, couldn't find anything so here we are. Thanks for reading!

Looks like the tracks are grouped in some way. Check the grouping matrix. There's also an option in preferences/track control panels to change the appearance of these indicators.
