Default Lua help for new TouchOSC lua feature

Hi all
If you haven't noticed TouchOSC now has a windows version and objects can now run a Lua script. Each script can be stored in the button parameters and run per button/object within an OSC template. Awesome stuff. But I'm a Lua noob.

I just need to send a comma delimited ASCII text string followed by a carriage return to a device at a specific ip address and port.

Can anyone give me an example script? I assume it invokes the TCP socket function. Here is an example of a text string I want to send

"sendir,5:2,45234,34500,4,3,34,48,24,12,24,960 ↵"

I realise this may be a bit off topic on here, and if it cant be tolerated can someone with Lua skills please pm me?
If it's any conciliation its for my Reaper TouchOSC template so I can switch my HDMI monitors
Much appreciated.
