Default Drum Editing Video

Where did the basic video dissappear to, that showed you how to make a kick drum or snare a bit louder from an existing song by filtering say the kick and the using a midi kick drum track activated somehow from the trigger made of the kick sample. I only veiwed it on the weekend and now can't see it in the basic video tutorials. Forgive my vague terminology but I'm fairly new to this program.
Thanks in advance Nick H.

That's where I have been and what I saw there is not what I have seen If you understood my post. I'm sure this video was in the basics but I can't seem to find any reference to the method I described in my post since that weekend. Maybe be I saw it in another section? If any of you know I'd really appreciate it as I have a stereo file only of my grandson's band and need to make the Kick & Snare a bit louder.
Thanks Nick H.
