Five position switch for panning?

I usually pan most instruments hard left and right, or of course center, with toms at 50% each side.

Just for the speed of setup, I would LOVE to have a five position switch instead of a smooth pan knob. Maybe with a key override for the occasional smooth "in between" movements.

Can anyone point me at a snippet of walter code that would help me implement this?

No, WALTER can only do if/when/where/how. It can't create new stuff. If there were a 5 position mode for pan knobs, WALTER would be how you made it appear ...but it would need to be a Reaper thing first.
