Default Anyone know of a Polymoog software synth?

Thinking of replacing my hardware Polymoogs, anyone know of a Polymoog in software? I imagine it's one of the more difficult synths to emulate, I use it for a rich string sound that i've been unable to nail with anything else, hardware or software.

I think your best bet would be to sample it.
The closest I've heard to moog filters is the one in gforce's minimonsta.
I have samplemoog (ik multimedia) which has some decent polymoog samples, but the filter sounds nothing like. You could try combining the 2.
BTW I think you're really lucky to have the real thing. Back in the 70's I was torn between one and a Jupiter 8. The Jupiter 8 eventually won (after months of agonising) and I still have it.

I was curious too and it seems there's still nothing except some sample sets for the strings and the "Vox Humana" sound from the Polymoog Keyboard and nothing on the "real" Polymoog except this Reaktor ensemble: http://stereoklang.se/blog/?p=3362

Looks like someone started one on SynthEdit but alas it also looks like in never got released: http://dubsounds.proboards.com/index...ad=1854&page=1

Your best bet would be GForce Minimonsta. With its unison mode you can get really ridiculously fat sounds, and the filter is pretty darn close too.

I'll check out everything mentioned, thanks everyone.
I found something interesting, Hallow Sun has released Vox Humana, a free pack of samples, downloadable for Soundfont players, Reason, Native Instruments Kontakt.

Elektrostudio stuff is very cool. Although it doesn't have as good Moog filter emulation as GForce. But very nice sounding nonetheless.

Check out MoonSonoSx and MicroMoon.
