Hey guys,

Do you mean copy/paste the selected sequence to next measure?

Based on the screenshot, it would be difficult for a script to automatically know how to interpret the first measure's notes: All notes in the first measure are selected, so does this mean that all notes in the following measures should also be selected? Or should the first 8 notes be selected? On beats where the first measure doesn't contain notes, should the following measures ignore, select or deselect notes?

As mentioned in the other thread, the script Select and deselect MIDI notes by step pattern is your probably best bet, using the "Measure divisions" mode:

If it's regardless of pitch then you could split the items up into measures and use 'Item: Propagate to all similarly-named items on track'
If you Propagate first then you can pitch the items separately in arrange with shift+9/0 etc. then glue.
But for what it's worth it's probably quicker to just copy'n'paste ..
Pooled midi item's is another way also combined with Item pitching.

that's what I do all the time with pooling, but the problem is when you have few takes.

I just really need a direct action to do this.
