Default Changing themes quickly (via two MIDI CC# buttons)?

Hey gang! Is there way to change Reaper's themes quickly, via MIDI buttons (CC#) "next theme" or "previous theme"? I hate having to go into Options, Themes, pick... Sometimes I just want to fly through them and decide, if I get sick of using one.

Thanks!

Hey,

assigning them to the Options: Switch to previous color theme and Options: Switch to next color theme Actions should do the trick.

Wait, so I could potentially make a custom action that changes from TCP to MCP view AND change the theme at the same time? Wow! I had been pondering this for some time, glad to know.

Yeah.

For loading a theme directly (instead of switching through all installed themes via the previous/next Actions mentioned in post #2), it's possible to set up Theme slots via SWS Resources (Extensions > Resources).
These theme slots can then be loaded via the corresponding Resources - Load theme, slot ... Actions.

Toggling between two themes, views, and so on (with a single button, key shortcut, etc.) is possible via SWS Cycle Actions.

Here's an example of a Cycle Action for toggling between two SWS Resources theme slots:
Code:
Resources - Load theme, slot 1
-- step ---
Resources - Load theme, slot 2
And here's one for toggling between two themes and window sets at the same time:
Code:
Resources - Load theme, slot 1
Screenset: Load window set #01
-- step ---
Resources - Load theme, slot 2
Screenset: Load window set #02
