FL Studio Theme - Beta 4
This is a theme based on FL Studio 20. It's still a work-in-progress, and it only supports 1920x1080 yet. I'm planning on making a 4k-version when the 1080-version is done. I've tested it in Windows only. Note that the theme adjuster does not work with this theme.
How to install
- Put contents of the zip-file in your Reaper resources folder, inside "ColorThemes".
- Install the fonts located under "FL Studio Theme (beta x)\Fonts".
These are the track colors I use:
Code:
Blue - 61 141 251
Brown - 170 88 28
Cyan - 45 255 250
Green - 103 215 66
Orange - 255 187 45
Pink - 247 53 155
Red - 226 85 69
Yellow - 248 224 92
Here are some preferences that makes it behave a bit more like FL:
Source file
I am using Affinity Designer to create all the images. If you want to edit this theme or make your own, download the source file here.
Special thanks

Looking very nice Mordi
So is that mock-up taken directly from your vector graphics software? It already looks like HiDPI

Yep, I designed it at 1080p resolution, but since it's vector I can just resize it to 4k.

Thanks!
I think I'll redo the TCP at some point. There's something about it that looks iffy.

Affinity Designer if I recall correctly.

I just want to say thank you Mordi for putting in so much hard work into this amazing and inspiring theme.
[ I will reward you by buying some of your music on my next payday ]
I'm very new to Reaper, but have been using DAWS for a loooooong time and before that hardware sequencing back as far as 1990 [ still have a few analogue synths in storage ] [ wow I'm old ].
I am always anticipating the famous FL startup sound after the splash screen closes
Screenshot attachment shows how the theme looks on my tiny sketchpad Linux machine [ Lenovo ideapad ]

You'd have to edit the rtconfig.txt file. You could try commenting out lines and see what happens, but it probably requires some scripting knowledge.

Thanks Mikobunto! That's much appreciated.
Oh, I see you use track icons. I might try making that look a bit better for the next version. From time to time I fix small niggles that I notice, but for my use it's pretty set.

Still using this beauty so I bought an album. Hope my earlier posts didn't kill your motivation. Seems like you dropped off there for a while. It's hard for me to gauge whether critique is desired on what I have to remind myself is volunteer labour.

Sweet, thanks! No, your post didn't kill my motivation. I see your point actually. I've been really busy with all sorts of audio freelance projects and my day job, but I also use this theme every day - so I'm making tiny tweaks here and there all the time.
For example, I noticed that it's kind of hard to see where 0db is on the TCP master track meter. I'm gonna fix that.

Oh, and the clock on the transport is not visible for me at all. Works on other themes tho.
And the track names on the MCP are the other way around compared to the picture in your main post. The last letters are at the bottom, not the first.
If the track name is long, you can´t see the first words/letters. They go out of view at the top.
Strange.
Thanks anyway for the awesome graphics!

Right click the transport and untick center transport controls, I had the same problem but I realized that that was why. Should work for you

Remove a line in sends area - as in this screenshot
Hi,
Can this be done easy, or is it needed for something? The line that is.
Thanks

that's nice!
FL studio also have names above meters in the mixer.
imho all the buttons and knobs should spread above and below as well (just like in FLstudio)

its hard to understand the mixer when there are folders inside folders without indentation
