Default Reaper > OBS via ReaStream is glitching

Hi, I'm working on a video/Audio recording project that necessitates patching my keyboard audio from Reaper to OBS using ReaStream (standalone).

The problem is that I'm getting glitches that are very much like that we see if our buffer block size is too low.

Any ideas?

Are you using OBS Studio or Streamlabs OBS is my first question?

Many thanks Brent, I'm actually using OBS (bog standard).

I've now solved this, it was an internal issue with my Mac I think.

The advice I followed, I think from OBS forum, was to install ASIO4ALL and also something (I think) called ASIO OBS. I seem to remember these pages were useful:

https://github.com/Andersama/obs-asio
https://streamershaven.blog/software...ntial-of-asio/

Now, instead of just the usual suspects being offered, when adding an Audio Input Capture Source, I get offered an additional category of Audio Capture called "ASIO audio input Capture". This, in turn, offers new input capture opportunities to select, such as ASIO and, I think, various ReaMote channels. At this stage I think I added an additional Hardware Output to my Reaper Master Out Routing, specifying ReaMote channels 3&4.

This all seemed to work fine as I lost the occasional crackles and also now had near-zero latency.

A bit of a learning curve but well worthwhile.

I ended up finishing the project just about ok, the only outstanding issue was my iPhone video feed via EpocCam USB would occasionally cut out for 13 frames; will leave that for the next project.
