I'm confused if the songs have to be mp3, or if wav is acceptable. I see a wav posted above, and that's the format of my songs. If they are acceptable, here's a link to one song I'd like on the radio (yeehaw!)
https://soundcloud.com/kenmyers-1/escape
I have it set so that download is permitted, if that is needed. If I have to do something else to make this available (convert to mp3, upload somewhere else) I can do that, too.

Well I know it's still around, because I just listened to this:
"Now Playing: Justin Frankel + David Wiener - A Little Pop Will Save Us All (via Justin)" And it weren't bad.
I sent 'em a link to my SoundCloud pieces, as in my sig. Who knows...

It's streaming nicely in iTunes.. Nice variety of songs and styles... I tune it in when I'm doing some chores etc...
It's a shame I really can't figure out who the artists are... Not much information on the stream in iTunes...
I'm checking out something called heyman3 now... (via lowlifesinner)
Most people don't have (via) on there...Which I assume is their username here on the Reaper forums )

Not to bump an old thread but I got questions
I'm a truck driver and been listening to Reaper radio this last week while driving. I noticed that I could listen for just over 3 hrs before I started hearing repeats so I'm guessing its a pretty decent sized playlist. Hence my questions,
1) Does it just scan the stash box for new songs and add them to the playlist? So when someone uploads one it automagically gets added?
2) Is there any "weight" added to newer songs so they are played a little more often than the older ones or is it a true random playlist?
3) When songs are submitted do they need to be LUFS compliant or does whatever software you are using use any processing?
4) Is it possible to get some listening/song stats?
5) Is it permissible to, if someone has the time and drive, to put together a show/podcast (talk about Reaper, interviews with developers/producers/musicians) to be included in the playlist? Or maybe do a live show as a dj/announcer?
6) What software are you using to run it?
Just wondering because I've been doing music podcasting/internet radio off and on since 2005. Played alot with Centovacast, Zararadio, IDJC and Sourcefabric's Airtime.

Hello
I'm listening to Reaper Radio from this URL: https://www.reaper.fm/radio.php
It works great and this online streaming radio has become my GO TO music source when I'm doing work at the coffee shop. The variety and styles of music make it fun and never boring. I'm often surprised at the quality of the audio and the compositions. It is also fun to hear the more raw and garage-like amateur songs.
Just one thing would add value to the experience (and to the artists): Having the Title of the Song and the Artist. I'm a computer programmer, I wonder how difficult would be to link some of the source data of the audio file to the object (a scrolling text window?) used to stream the music in the webpage?
Can anyone do this?

REAPER F.M. radio
Hi All,
I am trying to get to reaper.fm radio. When I click on the link on Reaper Main Page I get this Error message:
Could someone point me in the right direction please?
Many thanks.

I was just thinking about how if you do one radio station that's called "REAPER FM" and showcase the work REAPER users have done using the software, you'd have a unique format because it's multiple genres. That's definitely not the way most people tune into a radio station. Most of the music will sound like singer-songwriter productions, but then there's going to be metal, techno, rap, etc. all mixed together.
It's essentially a Bedroom Producers radio station, and that's likely who'll be attracted to it.
