Assigning an fx chain to an item

Hi! We've been trying to find a way to make a macro that assigns a specific FX chain to an item without having to go through the whole "Shift+E->Load Fx Chain->choose the file" process. Is there an action for assigning a default Fx Chain to an item? Thanks.

SWS Extensions way:

Define FX chain slots in Resources.

Then run 'SWS/S&M: Paste FX chain to selected item, prompt for slot'.
