Yep, "Tune-in Thursday 10AM PST for our announcement. NAMM booth #6724. Let's make some noise!"

Not sure if it will be "live" on YouTube or something, but I'm sure there will be a video art some point,BUT if anyone hears anything regarding Omnisphere, or a new landmark product from the guys @ Spectrasonics- please report!!

And seems like people who own a license transfer second hand copy of Omni 1 can upgrade for the same price too, woohoo!

You are all blessed with powerful processors, it seems to me :-)

I am sure Omnisphere would use about 50% of my CPU

but I am impressed and I was glad to see George Duke in some tutorials, and although the bass plugin sounds nice, I do not believe that they really thought Marcus Miller or Stanley Clarke would care about this plugin, cuz one can do a lot more with a real bass, the plugin sounds a little too polished, too clean, too poor in variety, though pretty good in a different way and a lot better than other plugins I ve heard.

What CPU do you have? Omnisphere isn't that demanding, unless you have many instances.

From all the specs I read on this version 2, it looks like the price is the only thing left that I can bitch about. Amazing.

Not really - Core i7 in a 5 year old laptop (custom built by PC Audiolabs). With 24 GB of RAM I can load as many instances of Omnisphere as I like, never had it crap it out on me.

Herbie Hancock is a big Omnisphere fan as well, by the way.

It's been a long time coming to ver. 2 but it certainly looks most impressive!
