Default Vital LV2i freezing Native Reaper 6.26

Vital LV2i is freezing/crashing Native Linux Reaper 6.26 and 6.25. It crashes before showing the GUI. This is the version from the official page: https://vital.audio/

The forked version in the kxstudio repos 'vitalium-lv2' seems to be working ok though.

Ubuntu studio 20.04 LTS fully updated
NVIDIA 460
Reaper Native 6.26

Same problem here.

With the vst2 version I get a crash when floating and unfloating the GUI repeatedly.

VST3 seems to be the most stable, but it still crashes when I open more than five or six instances.

I’m on AVLinux and Reaper 6.25

Please move this thread to bug reporting if that works better. I thought that was for windows only.

Exactly the same behavior with Vital 1.0.8 and Reaper under Ubuntustudio 20.04. Vital sadly never worked for me.

Vital 1.0.8 and Reaper under Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon: since the beginning working okay as VST3i, never a crash. Now on Reaper 6.40

I use the embedded GPU on an Intel processor, and the Mesa driver on Manjaro Linux for graphics.

Vital via WINE: doesn't work until you change the OpenGL string to something like version 4.5, then it works.

Vital L2vi: does not work, crashes reaper on load

Vital VST3i: works only in "Native mode" but crashes in "Separate Process" or other FX modes in Reaper.

I think that Vital has its own problems, but if you run Vital as a separate process it crashes Reaper-Linux, so also Reaper may share some of the responsibility.

You mean the LV2 version? Vitalium VST2 also crashes here, but VST3 seems to work ok.
