error updating Reaper

Was just trying to update Reaper 64 bit and it's giving me the following error:

Error opening file for writing

C:\Program Files\REAPER(x64)\Plugins\reaper_host32.exe

After I ignore that file Reaper opens but crashes when I'm trying to rescan plugins... it gives me system error :

Program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from you computer...
I tried to reinstall but it did not help...

Am I doing something wrong? Please help if u can...

You have a funky plugin that needs the "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable", I think. Try it again and watch the VST scan. try to notice which plugin it is scanning when it crashes. Find the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and try installing that. What OS are you using? System specs?

Look at your task manager, and kill any reaper processes hanging around (specifically reaper_host32.exe), then try the installer again.
