Default dialog box "warning : key already mapped"

Hello Reapers,
When you add a new shortcut for an action, and the shortcut you want is already used, there is a dialog box popping "This key is already mapped to the actions... etc".
I would like to be able to get rid of this box with the escape key, like any dialog box should behave in my opinion, and not only by clicking on "No" or by pressing tab+enter. One action saved, when done many times it saves a lot.
The same problem exists when deleting a track, the confirmation dialog does not respond to the escape key (I had made another post).
Thanks !

So you want to click "No" using Escape button?
Well, it would be good to have a possibility to just close these windows (active close button) to cancel your choice (it is the third option besides "yes"/"no").
Some shortcuts for "yes" and "no" are welcomed!
For example, Enter to click "yes" and ` to click "no".
Or allow us to assign shortcuts to these actions.

Historically, in such scenarios, escape is usually available to bail out of where you are, it's the same as clicking the X in the window usually - like for modal dialogs.

I wrote about it in the second sentence. For now X button is inactive.

I think closing the window is equivalent to answering "no" ...?
I would just like less actions for same result.
Answering 'yes' by pressing Enter key already works for me.

It has never been... Closing the windows means canceling.
Well, now you can press Tab and Enter to click 'no'.

Correct. Escape should close it, this was a "standard" long before reaper ever existed. It's not that it says no, it results in the same as no (aka cancel) because yes was never pressed. To be fair there could be a caveat since that dialog is supposed to capture input for keys/midi but not sure what it would be since Escape shouldn't be used for anything else anyway.
