Reaper conflicts with Softtube TLA 100A on OS X (SOLVED)
::: SOLVED ::: Hi guys, thanks for the interest - Good news: I figured it out. Bad news is: One of my favourite plug ins caused this - Softtube´s TLA 100A - which is a shame, because it´s one of the best Comp Plug Ins I ever heard. But I´m sure they´ll fix that eventually.
Hi guys,
I´m quite desperate. Here´s what´s going on:
Reaper is getting a "hickup" and not playing audio back smoothly. And this is only an almost empty project. Just one track and one plug in on the Master Bus. Changing block size doesn´t help (besides, this scenario shouldn´t be a problem at the most ridiculus block size??)
Playback Resample Mode & Render Resample Mode are set to medium but any changes here make no difference.
Media Buffer Size is default (1200ms)
Thread Prioriy is default (Highest)
Allow live FX multiprocessing is checked and set to 4 CPUs (changes make no difference)
I have a still pretty up to date Mac and the CPU is 3,2%
And it seems nothing´s wrong with my interface (Motu 8pre Firewire) My S1v3 runs smooth as butter in these regards.
I´m running out of ideas. You guys any experiences/advices, any help?
Thanks,
Marquez
