Default Store and Recall MCP Separators Height & Position

AFAICT this can only be stored in track templates and I have no control over the default position of these separators (e.g. when double clicking in empty tcp space to add a track).
Just want my mixer to always be like this:

Without having to continuously hold ctrl and do this (ignore the caption):

It's especially problematic for me currently, because I switch between a large monitor in the control room and a small monitor in the recording room, so I must adjust the mixer height each time. Wish this could be stored in screensets or snapshots...

Also, any time I make a new track template and want to keep it consistent with the others, I must load all my track templates, align them all and save them again. It gets old.

The only way to do this AFAIK is by tweaking the theme's WALTER code for MCP layouts.

I don't think this can be a part of snapshots, because you can have very different WALTER layouts happening on different tracks, there's no way for this to be consistent in any sort of way. Hence, you need to create new WALTER layouts that have these separators fixed.

OK thanks, that's promising! I didn't know WALTER layouts dealt with the separators.

Can you tell me exactly the code that controls that?

I've already set up the 4 layouts I need but I was just modding the default analog rtconfig from version 4 because it was already close to what I needed. I'm auto applying these layouts all the time, but I never noticed any WALTER code defining the separator positions. Is it new in R5?

I am not sure honestly, you should ask more experienced themers in the theme subforum

I know that it's possible because some themes are already using this to have a fixed size of the MCP (like Imperial, for example).

AFAICT, what you (and I, basically) want is almost, but not quite, possible with ReaScript.

Posted an example here of the only two functions I'm aware of to set mixer heights:
http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=187484

One function sets percentage of extended mixer vs. MCP panel. The other function sets percentage of sends vs. total Inserts/FX Control/Sends area. What is missing is a function to set Insert area size. I started a script to size things according to number of sends, FX knobs...Had to leave it at that. I think basically it counts the sends and makes that area bigger if there is any, otherwise leaves it small. That is on my main machine.
