ADDIKTION Themes Mod Pack + Toolbars

Hello all,

I've just finished the production of my 1st EP (done with REAPER of course!), and now I have a bit of time to share you some mods I have done.




The purpose of these mods is nothing more than improving readability on themes that I find already very well done.
Some of the mods have a lot of micro edits, some others have really a few.
All credits go to the original theme creators

Important note :
You need to set "Addiktion" as default layout for (at least) "Mixer Panel" et "Track Panel" - see picture below.
If you don't do it that's not a problem, but you will get some layouts that I find less relevant for default (in my way of working..).





THEMES


Addiktion_REABORN2.1 Download

> Mod of ReaBORN v2 by Nick Moritz. To me the most beautiful, complete, clear and usable theme for all-day (and night) work. I use it since it's released... I higly recommend to try to work with that one. Provided in dark, gray and light.





Addiktion_Alternate Download

> Mod of Alternate by Lambda (à la SONAR X1). Provided in dark and light.





Addiktion_Default_Analog Download

> Mod of Default Analog v1.8 by lerian. Provided in dark and light (screenshot is dark version).





Addiktion_Reaction Download

> Mod of Reaction v4 by Silent. Provided in dark and light.





Addiktion_ReaBORN1_Original Download

> Mod of ReaBORN v1 by Nick Moritz





Addiktion_ReaBORN1_Dark Download

> Mod of a ReaBORN v1 mod done by jedstar2000

TOOLBARS


As you may have noticed on the screenshots, I use some custom toolbars (a large part has been collected on the community ressources, and customised to my needs) and I share them to you. Be careful not overwriting your own toolbars... Back them up before loading new ones

I apologize if some functions do not work in your setup, mostly when I use some custom actions. But most of it will work.
You need to have the sws extensions installed.



Main Toolbar Download
Basic editing tools and toggles.



There is this handy python script written by crow that converts tempo into milliseconds, very cool to fine tune some time-related processing settings (compression, delays, verbs,...)




Sequencer Toolbar Download
My most used features : editing, automations, etc.




Color Toolbar Download
Color and layout handling (layouts will only work for Addiktion_Reaborn2, and you need to have the same settings that in the first picture of this post).




Midi Piano Roll Toolbar Download
Simple but useful...

Just wanted to say that these are pretty awesome. I've been trying out the one that you use and it's very nice.

Thanks for sharing. I am new so setting up the toolbars is a bit of a challenge, but I'm getting the hang of it and it's forcing me to learn new things which usually is a good thing.

How do I get to screensets/layouts?

Can't find it in options or prefs anywhere.

NFI how to put those toolbars in.

I did a check and did not see a particular issue, can you show me a screenshot?
Some icons can change depending on the theme (it is normal).

These are great! Particularly like the Reaction Dark, it's very slick!
I'm using the inspector 01 MCP though, and there is no indication that the track is selected...
Just thought I would pass it on.

Hi Addiktion..lovely looking theme..
i use my panels between two displays.. with the mixer / explorer at the top and the main track window at the bottom so i don't know if this has something to do with it but when i add a plugin (any really...guitar rig, JS plugins and so on).there appears to be no way to get the envelopes for the plugin to show up..am i missing somwthing?.you get the basic envelopes..volume pan pre-fx vol etc..but nothing for the plugin you add..

Links to original posters personal site don't work, because apparently that site is no more. OP seems to have been concentrating on sound design for years already.

That can be a problem when those things are not in Reaper stash. They can be gone any minute for whatever reason. But people can remove their stuff from the stash too, like what has happened with some of those things linked above. It is what it is. If you see something good, get it while you can.

Was there a specific version you might've been interested in?

Sorry for the delay... Been hard to find some free time

It seems like the stash does not allow to upload files beyond some filesize (it's less than 3 megs though..), which is probably why it was not on the Stash from the beginning.

Those themes were made 8 years ago, without any update. You can expect some bugs/issues/unsupported new features... But there you go!
