Default Transient Detection

Lately I have been using transient detection a lot, and I feel there could be an additional option here to improve my workflow. Any chance there could be an option to only select the closest transient to each Measure grid line / beat grid line based on the closest previous tempo? This could help eliminate many of the "Phantom" or unwanted transients detected.

Just a thought.

That would be a great feature.

I'll see if I can maybe do a script that imitates that behavior. Great idea!

Our local police department just announced a dedicated transient detection program.

I've played with creating an action that moves to next measure, then goes to nearest transient then move the barline to that point.

I just think having it part of the detect transients action would be great.
