Default EQ plot per channel in mixer view?

Is it possible to have a mini plot showing the graph of the EQ displayed on each of the channel strips in the mixer mode? I found it very helpful in Sonar to have this so I could quickly see how each track is EQ'd when getting a mix working without having to open the EQ FX window. Clicking on the plot ideally would open the EQ and than one could edit the settings. I know you can add controls for VSTs to the channel strip, but I have not found a way to display the plot of the EQ.

Maybe a global option "include EQ in all channel strips and show clickable mini-display"

Thanks

This is not possible as a general option because Reaper is pretty different in this regard to Sonar, since a track in Reaper is an empty shell, it doesn't have anything preloaded on it, no "internal" plugins whatsoever. Not just that, but with WALTER's theming facilities, each track can have a different layout, so there's absolutely no way to generalize this between all the various themes that already exist.

So I wouldn't hold my breath in seeing this happen in Reaper at all, as VST plugins don't have any means of reporting their plots to the host. Sonar's track EQs were very likely coded with that express purpose in mind, so they are not 100% complying to VST standard, they'd use some Cakewalk's extensions to do that.

It was indeed with the Sonar only EQ. Perhaps here they could make a special non-vst-conforming version of their EQ that could be added in some of the track layout options.

I'm sure it would be a bit of work to do that, so I won't hold me breath, but I think it would be a really valuable and appreciated addition.
