Default New Song - Wooden Beads

I got this very cool wooden shaker for Christmas made of African Padauk with handmade wooden beads inside. This got me motivated to record a track of nothing but a couple minutes of me playing the shaker. Then, part by part I built up a song around that first track of shaker.

I broke out all my best guitars for it and am playing the following stuff along with singing all the vocals.
2012 Fender American Standard Stratocaster centered for the solos at the start and end.
1933 Gibson L-00 acoustic with bottleneck slide centered for the solo in the middle.
1972 Gibson L6-S Midnight Special playing rhythm on the right.
Kontakt sampled Wurlitzer electric piano on the left and four part horn section spread across the soundstage.
Ludwig acoustic drums and five string OLP Stingray bass.

It's titled "Wooden Beads" at:

Hehe, Thanks Ivan, the shaker is just a backing part!

I tried sticking it more out front but sounded the best to my ears when I could no longer distinguish it from the drums, but could instantly hear what it was adding when I muted it's track.

It stands out more over the acoustic guitar solo when it switches from playing eighths to sixteenths, and is also exposed at the very end after the reverse/forward triangle crescendo.

A very cool thing with this shaker is that with the hole in it you can squeeze your palm tigher/looser on it and get vowel control almost like a Q filter. The guy who makes them also makes some other very cool stuff, but has no prices. Must contact him to find out. I want one of those "Songas" he plays halfway in this vid, but it's prolly a lot more than I want to pay for one.
