Default REQ: Show only selected tracks in mcp

Hi, could somebody make a script to show only selected tracks in mcp but not statically. I want it to hide the old selected track when I make a new track selection and only show new selected track this time. I hope you can understand.

Thanks man it works! Looks a little flickery when chaning the track selection but other than that it's nice.

And by the way if I want to turn the script off it sticks with showing only last selected track in the mixer, doesn't show other tracks.

Updated (in post #7). And you can start/stop it from a toolbar button too.

Yes, the script has built up details about the project , so opening a new one will upset it. It's best to stop the script, open the new project then start the script again.

I do not know how a script can detect a change of project. I've tried a few things, to no avail.

This update (in post #7) should handle the change of project (at least it does here )

Code:
   * Version: beta 03
     -- handle change of project
     -- add PreventUIRefreshes
   * Version: beta 02
     -- on exit, displays all tracks in Mixer
     -- can now start/ stop from a toolbar button

Thanks, project changing works now. But there is still some weird flickering while changining track selection. Here is a gif (look at the mixer window I docked to left, you can tell from the fader changes its position sometimes): https://imgur.com/Pq9Lc5o

I do not know what you are doing there. Is there some option for "selecting an item selects the track"?

I have no idea why the fader is jumping. It's nothing to do with the script.
And how are you removing (deleting?) the track. That seems OK here.

I guess removing the last track is causing that, weird.

Did you try to remove the last track in the tracklist like I did in my post?
Also graphics looks jumpy when changing track selection in your gif too.

Yeah ... tried and it's okay. As for the gif, I am not yet able to edit gifs in high definition. However to me the script works fine. Despite aggregating it with other actions I already had. The only advice I could give you is to remove the script and try to re-install it.

I'm pretty sure the error's source is the script. I tried with clean portable installed Reaper and it gives me the same error.

That was fine here. But you did not mention that removing the last track caused the problem. I'll have a look in the next few days..

@ Spookye,
Thank you
