Default Speed alteration after rendering

Hi,

it's my first time I use Reaper with a Mac. I have a Mojave 10.14.6 and I use 6.41 Reaper version (I tried the newer version too). When I listen to the song in Reaper the speed of the song is real and right. When I render it, it becomes faster. The play ratio is always at 1.0.
I use an m-audio fast track pro, sample rate 44100, 24 bit.
How can I fix the problem?

Thanks!

Usually some kind of sample rate issue.

How are you playing back the file after render when you hear it is fast?

Have you checked that the Mac audio settings are matching the Reaper sample rate in preferences/audio devices and also in project settings which can override prefs.

In Audio Device Setting I have: 44.100 (flagged)
The other settings are not flagged.

The M-audio output is at 44.100 16 bit

Are you playing the rendered file on the M-Audio or on the computer's built-in soundcard/soundchip?

The clock in two different devices will never match perfectly and sometimes there's enough difference to cause "a problem".

I played it on the M-audio and I sent it to other people and they told me the same thing. I don't know how to solve it. I usually use Reaper on Windows and I have never found this problem.

Oh. I forgot. If I use the built in computer soundcard (set to 44.100), and listen to the song on Reaper (the song recorded with Fast Track Pro), is also faster than the real one. If I listen to the same song in the same project with the Fast Track Pro, it is right, but if I render it and listen to it using another program(like VLC for example) it's too fast.

All evidence here is saying you have a sample rate mismatch.

Is there midi in the projects? Is the audio in this project recorded by you?
It's possible to record with interface SR set one thing and recording software another and have audio incorrectly flagged in it's header which then alters speed on render. Maybe this has happened?

Thanks for you answer.
There aren't midi tracks. There is only one track, cause I recorded the rehearsal with my band.
There is a way to prevent this problem? Sorry but I'm a newbie with Mac.

If you have access to a PC download Header Investigator and load the original recorded file. If header says 44.1, try changing it to 48 and then re-render from Reaper.
