Create TCP black layout for Imperial_LCS-mod_v2.9.2

Hi,
i use very often Imperial_LCS-mod_v2.9.2 by Lucas

I really like it.

But this theme doesn't have TCP black layout as LCS-mod_Short_Dark.(by Lucas too)

is this TCP black layout difficult to create?

Hi Christian64,

Do you just want the background to be black like this?



if so, do this:
- open the tcp_bg.png and tcp_bgsel.png files in GIMP
- select the area to change
- choose Color/Hue-Saturation from the menu
- turn the Saturation slider all the way to the left
- turn the Lightness slider to -40 and save

if you want all elements to be dark (buttons, knobs, etc.), you will need to unpack both themes so you have access to the files in the image folders for both themes.
No coding should be necessaary.
copy all files that start with 'TCP' and 'Track' from the Short_Dark theme in to the image folder for the Imperial_LCS-mod.
example:
tcp_bg.png
tcp_bgsel.png
track_mute_off.png
track_mute_off_ol.png

Note: do not copy the following Track files:
track_fxon_v.png
track_fxoff_v.png
track_fxoff_v_ol.png
track_fxempty_v.png
track_fxempty_v_ol.png
these files are actually for the mixer buttons.

WARNING: both methods above will change all the TCP layouts
I suggest you renamed the theme to reflect the change.
just replace the LCS in the name to something else.

test it and let me know if you have any other questions.

It's now ok for the background color but separation line between tracks have disappeared. (see attach file)

can you post a screenshot showing what part of the image file was selected in GIMP before you desaturated and darkened the tcp_bg.png?

thanks for your answer.
i did not selected any part in GIMP.
I just opened the 2 files with Gimp, used the part selected by default, (see attach file)then desaturated and darkened the tcp_bg and tcp_bgsel.png.

Its not selection, it shows bounds of a layer. Your issue is that You desaturated those pink lines on edges and they have to be perfect pink. 255 red, 0 green, 255 blue.

Hi christian64,

I've updated the theme to version 3.
Imperial_LCS-mod_v3

The new version has several updates, 2 additional fader colors and the dark TCP you wanted.
Please leave any comments about it on that thread.
