Default question

Hello Justin... hey a BIG THANKS for LICEcap! [what a name!]

I was playing with the .lcf files it makes and loading them into reaper, adding some noise and rendering out as avi's.... works OK, as I'm sure you know... but the avi's do tend to distort the geometry of the images a bit...

But what I was wondering is this: Reaper video is currently set up to let one add or edit audio to an existing movie [so it seems to me anyway]... what it won't do right yet, is let you have video data on two or more traks and work with that much like audio.. I mean with fades, transitions, etc. I know, I know... there are video apps for this of course... I just wonder if it would be possible for Reaper to handle two or more traks of video in this way... that means where the video items overlap each other?

Then another thought... can Reaper render back out as .gif or .lcf?

.

Looks like you are "beside yourself" over this LICEcap thing, Justin. Name sounds like some sort of Circuit Analysis software.

Impressive results, who's on Bass (or shall he remain nameless)?

4.5 MB GIF: https://stash.reaper.fm/oldsb/370734/FS_Test5.gif Recorded (and flown) on my old Athlon XP 3200+

Thanks to a refresh issue (not in LICEcap) we can see where it saves some bits:

However more means to save file size would be on my wish list or .lcf support for the forum.
