Default Reaper reading LUAC

Hi!

I have just began making Reascripts and I'm wondering - does Reaper
read compiled lua-scripts (luac)?

I just tried and it worked. The bytecode was actually larger than my test script. :P

Not sure if the bytecode will work across platforms though - I think it compiles to OS-specific code.

Hmm, seems like it might have a few issues. Another test script crashed trying to access the script path.

Interesting!

I was thinking it would be nice to have multiple files
needed for a script in one package. Wait a minute - isn't
Reaper Themes packaged like zip files? What if Reaper
could manage scripts the same!?

Maybe a feature request?
