What's to look into?
It's tiny, it's free, has no iLok style copyright key technology and you might just end up in a different universe where Eventide didn't bring out Black Hole.

It's good.
Very good.
I just swapped it into an old song that I had a buss with a reverb into a delay...super cool.

I have downloaded it and ended up with a roughly 2.5 Mb application that doesn't do anything and I can't find any instructions about installing. Has lockdown softened my brain and can anyone help? I tried downloading it again and get the same result.

It's all on his site Marti.

https://valhalladsp.com/2020/05/06/v...-the-controls/

I installed it to my plugins folder. The original folder didn't show up in Reaper.

Windows installer worked correctly here. Really nice, finally something I can replace Glaceverb with(I need those absurdly long cosmic reverbs).

It's definitely worth it. Not only does it do "normal" reverb and delay, but also crazy fx stuff that is not possible with others.

I think I have the entire Valhalla oeuvre.

This is very cool, as one would expect from Sean and crew.

hm, only 64 bit, showstopper.

Error
Runtime Error (at 1:1464):
Internal error: Cannot expand "cf64" constant on this version of Windows.

Tried switching to many other Windows variants in wine line Windows 10, 8, 7, still same problem. Good, Reaper installers do not behave like this.

What you downloaded is an installer. Run the installer and point it to wherever your plugins are

Marti,
We need more details. What precisely do you mean?
Does it show up in Reaper as I discussed before?

Hi softsynth. Thanks for sticking with me. I don't know why this was so difficult - I have installed hundreds of vsts! I read the documentation section of the website but I couldn't see much about installation and the video seemed not very relevant.

Anyhow using a different unzipper I finally got the installer to run. The problem then was that during the process I was not given an option of where to install the plug-in (did I miss that bit?) By doing a search I discovered it had produced a X64.dll in Program Files\Common Files\VST2. I added that in Preferences and I now have a really interesting sounding reverb to play with!

I have obviously made the job way over complicated. Maybe lockdown has blunted my brain a bit. Thanks to you and everyone for their assistance.

Well I'm glad you got it in the end.
His delay is one of my favourite VSTs.

It lists the variety of plugin options you want installed, 32/64, AAX, as well as the install location.

Hi. Yes I saw that bit but somehow missed the location options. I think sometimes I mentally expect things not to work so it becomes sort of self fulfilling...

Once again thanks to everyone for guiding me through this - even if I insisted on going off track at various points!

Default Valhalla: Contacting Sean

I just dfownloaded this & had to log into my account using my old email address which is being closed down on the 25th of May. I cant find a support option as laid out in the initial support/FAQ section that actually gets you through to one of Sean`s "Support Minions TM" anyone got a link?

On MacOS ? Because on Windows, you have the choice between 32 bits and 64 bits.

Contact this support (tell him about your issue in the contact form):
https://valhalladsp.com/contact/

In the meantime play with the new plugin, there isn't a different version for registered users.

I cannot get Reaper to pick up the VST2 file with Supermassive in it doing rescans. I have tried everything I can think of.

Do I need an account with Valhalla or something for this free plug to work? I own most of the UA powered plug-ins and some VST3s that work fine. I have also been doing these kinds of things for decades; what's up with this?
