Default How to Select Midi Notes by Lengths

Hey
thanks for taking the time.

-on midi editor is there a way to select notes by their note lengths?
I want to do it so I can quickly select all the short notes (staccato, pizz) and then copy/paste them to a key-switch trigger; to then turn on staccato. it would greatly reduce my work time i there a way.

- if there no reaper comand, is it still possible to make a script for it? i.e( function: select all note with a length equal to or less than .5)

New here [despite join date: some of us lag of course], but it looks like you can, klonoastudio.

In the Midi editor, open up the Filter Events window.
Set Event Type: Note
Check Length box, and then give max/min ['low/high'] values like 1/32nds. Looks like manual entry is necessary for lengths smaller than 1/32nds, so for instance you could type in [Min: 1/64 / Max: 1/32T] and Reaper will select only notes between those lengths. Sounds like a useful feature for staccato notes to be moved/sent to another patch or what have you.

Good luck.

I like to choose the length of notes according to the number of ticks, because I used to use cakewalk.

This can be done in script.

Système Internationale lacks the spiritual currency for such precision.
