Default How do I get random selection from multiple items?

Hi there

I have five (video)items on seperate tracks that I would like comped to one track - is there an easy way to get reaper to select randomly/orderly a number of bars from each item and comp it to one track (not moving the items as they are time-aligned with each other).

Thank you.

English not being my first language I'm going to try and explain this again.

I have five items (on five tracks). I want to have these five items comped on to one (new) track with a set item length per comp.

Say the five items is a ten minute performance, and the selected comp-size is one minute, then on the new comp-track the first minute is from item one, the second minute from item two etc. The sixth minute would then be from item one and so fourth.

Does this not make any sense or is just not possible at all?

Thanks

-W
