I like making my own toolbars for reaper and have them lined up around the screen. A big problem though is that sometimes when opening the midi editor or another window like the FX window, the window opens inside my toolbar docker making a complete mess of my screenset and toobars.
A fix would be much appreciated. Why actually have toolbar dockers for menu sets if this is going to happen? I can usually fix the problem temporarily by making the midi editor, fX window etc open undiocked, but there are many other instances when this happens. I can just reset my screenset to change it back but then I've lost the new window.
I've had this problem with reaper for quite a while. Since I started using my own toolbars. Here are a couple of images that show the problem.
