How do you add the same lead time to selected tracks

I am working on a mixed media project. I currently have about 30 tracks overall, but there are 8 tracks with the individual "items" I've arranged so far (music, spoken word, background sounds, etc). The rest of the tracks contain material that I eventually expect to bring in.

I have arranged the completed items/tracks along a specific timeline, but I would now like to add room for a 30 second intro to all of those 8 tracks. Is there an easy way to do this without changing the overall timeline? A different way of asking is: Is there an easy way to select all items on a track and slide them to the right 30 seconds? Or simply add 30 seconds to the beginning of a selected track?

If you have the SWS extension you can use the SWS/S&M: Insert silence (seconds) action.

Select amount of time then Right-Click "insert empty space in selection"

and since you don't have a lot of tracks to deal with, you could merely put a maker at 30 seconds to let you see where you want to go to...

select all the items on one track and drag them to that marker...

another way could be with a custom action...

me2beats has a lua script to move items [selected items] one measure right [he has one for left also]

and there is an action to select all items on selected tracks in time selection

so you could combine those, and add the move right as many measures as is 30 seconds for your bpm...

then if you made a time selection and also selected all the tracks you wanted to affect, running that custom action with a single key press would do the trick.
