Default Arturia Audiofuse - Is it compatible

Good day everyone. I need to buy a new audio interface and have been reading some stellar reviews on the Arturia Audiofuse. The price point is great and its I/O flexibility is remarkable.

Does anyone know if this is compatible with Reaper? Anyone using one?

Cheers,

Pretty much guaranteed to be fine with Reaper since it is a Class Compliant device.

But as the SOS review points out for the current street price there are other more mature interfaces from big name manufacturers that smoke it in terms of low latency performance.

Shop around very carefully and A LOT before committing to this interface.

Thank you Ivan. You give me pause for thought. I am indeed researching this carefully. However with so many choices...AND opinions, it does make the task somewhat daunting.
Cheers.

FWIW I paid way less than that for my RME original Babyface, which I can guarantee will do a greaa job for you.
Many others from the likes of steinberg, N.I. and others, all in the same price bracket or (in many cases) much cheaper for the same sort of performance.

Hadn't seen this one. Looked at some vids. Impressive on one hand, confusing on the other hand.

Impressive:

- 72 dB preamp gain @ -129 dB EIN. Very clean.

- Digital gain and impedance control.

- Street price around 550$.

- Lots of buttons.

Confusing:

- Why would you want to switch impedance on the SP/DIF?

- There still is software and a driver needed for access to al features, incl. low latency operation.

- Routing seems a bit limited, but that's hard to tell from vids

- Lots of buttons.

Bad:

- And, why, of why, 3,5 mm jacks with a short adapter cable for MIDI?

- No power switch?

- Lots of buttons
