Default Latency in Pitch Corrector

Ever since I downloaded the latest reaper patch the latency on my pitch corrector plugin is too much. I used this to play along with songs that are tuned different than my guitar but I can't do that anymore. Is there anyway around this?

Easy: Adjust the pitch (tuning) of the track, then render it as a stem. That stem will be at the new pitch, and with no FX latency.

I didn't record anything on the track so there's nothing to render. I try to but under "render to" it won't let me put anything in there.

There WILL be something to render if you follow Dave`s advice to the letter. (Adjust pitch before trying to render)

Not necessarily, the OP may be monitoring live through Reaper with pitch correction. There is no mention of having any tracks playing back in Reaper.

So are you monitoring live?

if so, and the latency is too much, have you tried decreasing your buffer size?

Also, may be a good idea to give more details of your setup and what exactly you are doing if you want further advice.
