Default Mute OSC broken in Automation Write

Please see this post from another thread.

https://forum.cockos.com/showpost.ph...4&postcount=16

Essentially, when connected to an X32 with X32Reaper they talk to Reaper properly. As soon as automation write (any mode) is activated, mute osc commands from the desk are ignored.

Patrick-Gilles has confirmed this is a bug in Reaper.

Thanks,

Anthony.

Guys, hate to keep bumping this... what's the acknowledgement process for bugs? How do I/we know that this has been ticketed?

I'm ready to part with $$$ for the full version but this bug makes it an absolute no go.

Let me check this thread first. I don't know how to help you yet.

Has this now been confirmed as a bug? Is there a timescale? Sorry to nag at this but I have a deadline for a project and this bug is stopping the process. As I said, I'm poised to buy but without this being fixed Reaper is useless to me.

So I started this thread on the 15th May having found a VERY serious bug in automation. The bug has been confirmed by other Reaper users and by a third party developer. It is now the 11th July.

There have been two releases of Reaper since the bug report.

I have chased this thread several times without any one from the development team responding, let alone acknowledging the issue.

I have patiently waited for the bug to be fixed before purchasing. I'm starting to see very little point in looking at this software anymore. If the development team are happy to take peoples money for the software but not even take the time to investigate bugs yet alone acknowledge them, I don't see why I should waste my time any more.

Another release and still not fixed, yet other bugs reported after have been.

What gives? Has the Automation programmer quit? This bug has been around since version 5. How come no one else records "Mute" automation?

Bump. Just want to bring this bug back your attention.

It is likely to be fixed? ever?

Please, just answer? I don't care the answer is "No"; I'll just find another DAW that will work.
