Lua, OSC, and Berhinger X32?
How do you write a script in Lua to OSC to a Behringer X32 to query just the currently loaded Scene Number?
That's currently all that I'm interested in getting, and at the moment I am running three external scripts to get it, one built specially by Patrick-Gilles Maillot. One of the other two scripts launches his program externally to Reaper, and another kills its wrapper program when Reaper closes.
Maybe some time down the road I might see about getting the channel names, or even some of their settings, but for now, I just need to get the Scene Number.
I've tried looking at OSCII-Bot and some other things, but... it ain't happening. I wouldn't have thought it to be this difficult. (Then again, I didn't think that loading an image for a logo using Lokasenna's GUI library would be difficult either, but I'm still stuck trying to figure that one out, so maybe it's just I'm too dense to understand how to get started??)

Lemme ask this... how do you send any OSC to any point with Lua?

Lemme ask this... Does it do any good to ask questions on this forum anymore, or do I have to know somebody that knows somebody?

Well, if nobody knows, then people may refrain from answering.
I am not aware of a feasible (that is, enough simple and enough efficient) way to send OSC (or receive, for that matter) messages with Reaper's Lua implementation.
