Default reaper and Lion shortcuts conflict

I cant find this anywhere

But how can i stop Lion shortcuts from conflicting with reaper, ? I know I can disable them, But disabling mac shortcuts is a pain cause you have to go one by one ...
Also...always a new conflicting shortcut arise...
Also there are some Reaper's default shorcuts which are being used by mac too..

Anyone having this issue and what are your workarounds??

Thanks a lot

KEYBOARDS combinations I want to free up for reaper use, many of them, i cant remember right now...
all i can tell you is that when reaper is in focus, OSX still uses its shorcuts, for example Ctrl + Left arrow, Ctrl + Right arrow, etc etc etc...

I dont want any mac shorcuts when reaper is in focus, but then I want my OSX shorcuts when OSx desktop is in focus....

if you know what I mean..

Tahnks

What are Ctrl + Left arrow, Ctrl + Right arrow mapped to in Reaper?

These are in fact the keyboard shortcuts for navigating to different spaces (eg. Ctrl + Left arrow will shift you one space to the left.)

This would be a conflict to map these to something in Reaper.

You can always disable or change the OSX keyboard shortcuts in System Preferences/Keyboard. I suggest using non-OS shortcuts in Reaper just to avoid creating too non-standard system to manage (ie. constantly turning off OS features to accommodate a unique setup). But the bottom line is you can modify keyboard shortcuts in both OSX and Reaper so ultimately you can do whatever you want.

thanks , I just thought it would be possible to stop OSX shortcuts when a program/software (like reaper) is in FOCUS...

it is a common behavior in Windows I believe to suspend its own shortcuts temporarily/automatically when a program is in focus..

Thanks a lot
