Default Unexpected Env Inflection
Ok, so, what is this?

This happened today when I pulled the top-most point above 0dB. It doesn't happen unless that top point is above 0dB.

That's normal, because the envelope has a different scaling on the upper half compared to lower half. I assume you have amplitude scaling, not fader scaling for volume envelopes enabled? That would be the cause. (Preferences->Project->Track/Send defaults->Scaling for new volume envelopes.
