Default Footswitch for transmit on/off?

Has anyone figured a way to set up a footswitch to control transmit?

I think the devs would need to add Tmit as a possible evelope filter parameter under the trim button.

Right now there is only plugin bypass and wet options there.

Would be a nice feature, I agree.

This would be a great feature if possible. Only solution I can think of is using an external mixer with flexible routing to handle it, but if you use software instruments that's not really doable...

Well the envelope filter would work with anything that can send a MIDI CC message, and set it to toggle mode. For example all plugins parameters automatically pop up in the trim section of a track and are then automatable.
So any MIDI controller can be programmed to send a CC message. If you have a spare button or footswitch on your MIDI controller or keyboard, you could use it for this purpose.

For analog input (i use it in my bass pedalboard now) Eventide MixingLink works pretty good.
