Hi ,i dont see the point of having so many of included the reaper plugins,i only ever use, compression,eq , reverb and delay and i only record my own music , so is there a way of removing the plugins that come with the software ? I find them cluttering and if possible ide like to remove most of them ,anyone know please? thanks

Here is an alternative to removing anything.

Go to - Insert > virtual instrument on new track > right click empty space in "All Plugins" column > add folder.
That gets you a custom folder, then right click on any fx you want to move to it and choose "add to".
If you right click on your new folder you will see "edit", so you can name it as you wish.No need to get rid of included plugins from your installation.

To hide any VST

Open the FX Browser

Rename the offending VST by prefixing it with a ' # ' (hash/pound depending on your location)

Open the 'Options \ Show in FX list' menu and deselect 'Plugins that start with #'

If you don't want the JSFX effects, you can delete them from the Reaper resource folder. (main window, Options / Show Reaper resource path)
