Default 8 bit robotic punk, 100% reaper

Finally put a demo out:

All made with Reaper and free VSTs (like Ignite amps for guitar).
Thanks again to all the forum members who helped me to shape my sounds!

It's like Commodore and Amiga gone hard.

Thanks!
Can I have some feedback on things to improve?
Is the guitar ok for a non real amped?
I compressed a lot and then put the JS master limiter, is it too much?
Any offensive frequency range? I don't even have monitor speakers..

The vocals overpower everything else, they probably need the most work if you want it less "offensive".

But really, it's not music that should confirm to normal aesthetics, so it's hard to make that kind of critique, IMHO.

I'm not at all a good judge for the style, but I can hear the compression.

Judders: Yes the vocals are the most difficult. It's hard to find a free vocoder vst that can give a robot voice with enough punch.. For now I'm using the Japanese Vocovee vst..

Sammydix: are you saying there is too much compression?

Actually I'm not sure whether I hear too much compression or if it's supposed to sound that way. MIx-wise, this genre is over my head--unless I hear something just obviously bad, of course. That's not the case here.

Haha that's good to hear. It's just that when I look at reference songs like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAtLV5FkoP8
The wave forms are just a thick wall of sound, visually I don't see any dynamics so I tried to do the same..

Man, this is different for sure. I am also a big videogame fan since childhood so this hits a soft spot for me.

cheers
