Default Option to assign Backup & Undo files to a folder other than Project files location

Love Reaper. And this is my main beef. Since this is my main beef, and it's minor, you know I love Reaper.

* REQUEST
I would love to be able to have the
.rpp-bak
and
.rpp-UNDO
files be created somewhere other than where the
.rpp
files are.

* BENEFIT
Would improve ease at seeing what’s in the folder at a quick glance, without having to mentally “hide” and ignore the files we’re not looking for.

Also we would be able to manually backup just the project files to an external drive without all the other ones.

* REASON
General housekeeping and simplifying workflow.

* IMPLEMENTATION SUGGESTION
I assume this would be incredibly easy to implement.

Would probably be a 6th option at
Preferences / General / Paths

I know there’s an option to save COPIES of the backups elsewhere, but they still save also in the same folder as the project files. Whereas it would be great to have both types, the
.rpp-bak
and
.rpp-UNDO
go somewhere we don’t see them when glancing into the projects folder.

I know if we open the file through Reaper itself, the default is to only see the Project files, but I often have reasons to look into the project folder. I imagine a lot of other people probably do also.
